These terms and conditions apply to all competitions and prize draws promoted by the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms at any time.
- Participating in the promotion is deemed acceptance of our Terms and Conditions, and permission for the Promoter to contact the participant for future competitions or with information about sustainable living and/or products. Any information received will remain confidential and will not be provided to a third party.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Errors and omissions will not be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility, and shall not be liable for any loss incurred in the event that a prize is lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way, once delivered to the winner. If for any reason whatsoever the winner is unable to redeem the prize as stated then the winner will forfeit their prize and will not receive another prize or cash in lieu of this prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury which may occur after the prize is received.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- The total prize pool is valued at $5,822. Any transportation or other costs to receive or participate in the prizes shall be born by the prize recipient. Each prize recipient is entitled to one prize based on a draw by the Promoter; people with more entries have better odds of winning, though are not guaranteed to win. Winners will be announced the first week of December 2017.
- The winner of a veggie patch from Costa Georgiadis will be entitled to a veggie patch at a home, school, or community garden of their choice, and is valued at $2,500. In principle, the veggie patch will be 4.8m by 2.4m in size depending on conditions, at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Milkwood’s 2-day Introduction to Permaculture course for 1 person will take place in Hepburn Victoria on a future date in 2018 to be determined; valued at $490. Milkwood’s 2-day Serious Backyard Veggies course for 1 person will take place at Pocket City Farms, Sydney on 16-17 December, 2017; valued at $490.
