Win Prizes & Vouchers worth USD 8000 - Photo Musings Online photo contest was started in the year 2013. This is a free entry international photo contest .
Rules & Other information are as follows :
1. Entry Fee: Free entry
2. Participants are requested to join our Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/694881247203936/ , we will provide various updates related to this contest in this group . We do not communicate with individuals for contest updates . Results will be declared in this Facebook Group only .
3. Theme of the contest: Human Interest
Brief defination of Human Interest Images : Human Interest is defined as an image depicting a person or persons in an interactive, emotional or unusual situation, excluding recreational or organized sports action. Guidelines for Human Interest Images.

4. Each participant can submit a maximum number of 3 (Three) photographs. All images must be the original work/s of the participant.
5. Digitally manipulated images will not be accepted for judging except routine cropping, brightness/contrast/burning & dodging adjustments. Images with any kind of inscription, watermark, border etc will not be eligible for the contest and will be summarily rejected. HDR & Stitched images will not be accepted .
6. Each image should be submitted with a title for identification with maximum of 10 (ten ) words. The Image file name should consist the title & photographer?s name. As for example if one of your entry?s title is "Market" and your name is Nipan Kalita , then the file name should be Market_Nipan_Kalita .
7. All images must be in JPEG/ JPG file format. The resolution & size of the images should be in 300 dpi and longest side of the image (Either the height or width) should be in between 1500 pixels to 2000 pixels. If necessary the organizers may ask for high resolution images.
8. The entries must be submitted on or before 19th Aug 2015. The submission mail id is provided below. Results will be declared on 21st Aug 2015 . Prize Distribution will be held on 25th Aug 2015 at Guwahati.
Kindly note: Prizes will be delivered at Guwahati, Assam, India. However the organizers will help to dispatch the prizes to the outstation winners, but winners must have to bear the cost of shipping & other related Legal formalities & Tax matters, if any .
9. The decision of the panel of jury will be final and binding upon the participants in all respects. Besides, the panel of jury has the right to ask for the original unedited digital image of any entry if required.
10. AWARDS:
(i) 1st Prize: One CANON EOS 700D DSLR CAMERA WITH 18-55MM IS II and certificate. + One Photobook Album worth Rs. 8000/- + Rs 1,00,000/- Discount coupon from Kaizen Constructions on purshase of property from them in Guwahati, Assam, India.

Honorary mentions:
There will be 10 (ten ) honorary mentions. All 10 participants will be awarded with one customized photobook worth Rs 3000/- each and certificates + Rs 50,000/- Discount coupon from Kaizen Constructions on purshase of property from them in Guwahati, Assam, India.
11. Usage of the images: Copyright of the Images will be with the authors however organizers can use the selected images for any kind of promotion and developments related to the art of photography.
Kindly note: The organizers will try their level best to provide the items mentioned above, however in unavoidable circumstances like discontinuation of the items etc. then organizers may offer alternative models within same price range at per aforesaid models.
12. Minimum age for participation: 18 years or above.
