What are the prize details for the Hachette Competition?

The Hachette Competition offers three winners a proof copy of "King of Ashes" by S.A. Cosby as the prize. Each prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash and any taxes or expenses related to winning the prize are the responsibility of the winners.

When does the Hachette Competition end?

The Hachette Competition opens on 16 April 2025 at 10:00 am and closes on 30 April 2025 at 5:00 pm.

How can individuals enter the Hachette Competition?

To enter the Hachette Competition, individuals must fill out their details at the competition tab located at www.hachette.com.au/win/. Participants may enter multiple times, but each entrant is only eligible to win one prize.

Who is eligible to participate in the Hachette Competition?

The Hachette Competition is open to individuals who are Australian residents. However, persons under the age of 18 must have prior permission from a parent or guardian over the age of 18. The competition is not open to persons under 16 years of age, individuals living outside Australia, employees of Hachette and affiliates, or their immediate family members.

How will winners be selected in the Hachette Competition?

Winners of the Hachette Competition will be chosen based on the originality or creativity of their entries from all valid and eligible submissions. The decisions made by Hachette and competition judges are final and binding.

How will winners be notified in the Hachette Competition?

Winners will be contacted via email within three days of the judging of the Hachette Competition. The names of the winners will be published, but the prize will only be awarded once eligibility and compliance with the terms have been confirmed.

What happens if the prize is unclaimed in the Hachette Competition?

If a winner does not successfully respond to the notification of winning the prize before 15 May 2025, does not accept an element of the prize, or cannot be located, the prize may be forfeited. An alternative winner may then be selected according to the original winner selection process.
