To enter, participants must during the Competition Period:
a) Log on to www.bbcknowledge.com (the “WEBSITE”); and
b) follow the prompts to the “Top Gear Week” competition page; and
c) In 25 words or less say “WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TOP GEAR STUNT AND WHY?”; and
d) complete the entry form with all the details required, including (but not limited to) full name, email address, date of birth and state. Mandatory details will be indicated on the entry form
There is one (1) Prize to be won in this Competition, being a trip to Melbourne, VIC to attend the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix between Thursday 13 March 2014 and Sunday 16 March 2014 valued at a maximum of $11,186, including: :
- 2 x return economy airfares from the Prize Winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne, VIC valued at a maximum of $3,200.00*;
- 4 x nights’ accommodation in a twin share room at The Hilton On the Park, Melbourne (the “Hotel”) for the Prize Winner and their guest (Travelling Companion) valued at a maximum of $1,236.00, check in 13th March 2014, check out 16th March 2014.;
- 2 x Seasonal Brabham Grandstand Tickets to the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix valued at a maximum of $1,050.00;
- 2 x Pit Lane Walk Passes valid for Saturday 15th March 2014 valued at a maximum of $1,000.00 ;
- 2 x Exclusive Formula 1® Paddock Tours during the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix (the exact date is subject to availability and will be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion) valued at a maximum of $2,000.00 ;
- 2 x Helicopter Flights above the Albert Park Circuit during the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand (the exact date is subject to availability and will be determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion) valued at a maximum of $200.00;
- 1 x Ride in a historic car around the Albert Park circuit for Saturday 15th March 2014 for the Prize Winner only valued at a maximum of $1,000.00; and
- 1 x tour of the Formula 1 Media centre including press conference room during the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix for the Prize Winner only valued at a maximum of $1,500.00.
*Flights will not be provided to winners who reside in VIC. In this scenario, the 2 x return economy flights and (where applicable) transfers, will be excluded from the Prize and the total value of the Prize will be reduced to $7,986.00. The Promoter will not offer a cash prize or a substitute prize in any event.
