PHASE THREE
CONSUMER COMPETITION ENTRY CONDITIONS
General
1. The Promoter is Deakin University ABN 56 721 584 203 of 221 Burwood Highway.

2. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into
the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions
3. These Terms and Conditions are the sole and exclusive terms and conditions in
relation to the conduct of the competition and any contrary or inconsistent
statement in any promotional or other material in relation to the conduct of the
competition shall be of no force or effect against the Promoter.
Eligibility
4. Entry is free to and open to all Residents in Australia aged 16 years and over. The
staff of the Promoter and its agencies directly associated with the conduct of this
promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion.
5. Entrants under 18 years old must obtain their parent or guardian’s consent before
entering. The Promoter may require any such entrant’s parent or legal guardian to
register their details in place of the Entrant at the Promoter’s discretion in which the
parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for the acts and forbearances of the
winner. Failure to agree to the register and provide these details will invalidate the
winner’s entitlement to the prize, subject to State and Territory legislation.
a) If the competition winner is an entrant under 16 years of age whose parent or
legal guardian has registered their details in place of the Entrant, the prize will be
awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity,
proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry
validity or proof of registration ownership in order to claim a prize. Proof of
identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the
discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof,
the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Promotional Period
7. The promotion will commence at 9:00am AEST on 10th July 2018 and ends 11:59pm
3 August 2018.
8. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries not
received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery due to technical disruptions,
network congestion or for any other reason.
How To Enter
9. To enter the promotion, entrants will be required to submit their details into a form
on http://www.deakin.edu.au/ultimate-experience
10. The entrants will be required to select which prize draw they would like to enter
from the following options:
a) Netball Australia
b) Geelong Cats
11. Any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant by a third party will be invalid, unless
the entrant requires the assistance of a third party to enter due to a disability or
under age.
12. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
Number of Entries Permitted
13. Entrants may only submit one entry in relation to each prize draw.
Draw and Notification of Winner
14. Each competition is a ‘game of chance’ and skill will take no part in selecting a
winner.
15. The prize draw will take place at 10:00am AEST on 6 August 2018
16. The prize draw will take place at the premises of the Promoter’s sponsorship agency,
Bastion EBA, 14 – 18 Cremorne Street, Cremorne, Victoria 3121
17. The winner will have 48 hours to claim the prize, if they are uncontactable or fail to
collect their prize during this time, the prize will be forfeited
18. Subject to state regulation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Bastion EBA
14- 18 Cremorne Street, Cremorne, VIC 3121 at 10:00am AEST 8 August 2018. The
winner/s of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by email within two days of
that draw
19. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take
a Prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that winner’s Prize will be
forfeited.
Prizes and Prize Draws
20. There will be two prizes on offer and two separate draws.
a) Prize Draw A - Netball Australia Competition
Total prize pool value is up to $3,000 (Including GST). For the winner and one guest
(2 people in total):
a. 2 x Return economy flights to Wellington, New Zealand. For the winner
and one guest from their closest international airport;
b. Two nights accommodation in a 4 star hotel or equivalent;
c. Watch a closed training session with the Australian Diamonds;
d. Receive 2 x tickets to the International Test Series Match;
e. Receive one Netball signed by the Australian Diamonds Squad
Netball Australia prize does not include transfers, meals or accommodation. All expenses
incurred in relation to this prize, including transfers to and from prize venues, parking costs,
food and beverage purchased by the winner and guests during the prize is at the cost of the
winner and not covered by the promoter.
b) Geelong Cats
Total prize pool value is up to $4,500 (Including GST). The Prize, An exclusive Sport
Experience with the Geelong Cats. This prize includes
a. 2 x tickets to the Stella Artois Lounge including reserved seats at the
Round 23 Geelong Cats v Gold Coast Suns match (Date TBC)
b. Exclusive pre-match briefing with the Geelong Cats football analyst and
assistant coach
c. Watch the pre-game warm up inside the change rooms
d. 2018 team signed guernsey
21. Geelong Cats prize does not include flights, transport, meals or accommodation. All
expenses incurred in relation to this prize, including transfers to and from prize
venues, parking costs, food and beverage purchased by the winner and guests during
the prize is at the cost of the winner and not covered by the promoter.
22. The Prize value in these Terms and Conditions is in Australian dollars and includes
Australian GST where applicable.
23. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
Further Terms and Conditions
24. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in
the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the
same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of
promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products
manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. All entries become the
property of the Promoter.
25. By entering this Promotion you agree that the Promoter may (either directly or
through its contractors or agents) collect and use your personal information to assist
in conducting this competition or promotion. The Promoter may disclose your
personal information to its related companies and to third parties service providers
(including marketing agencies). The Promoter’s privacy policy (available at
http://www.deakin.edu.au/privacy provides details about how you can seek access
to or correct any personal information the Promoter holds about you, how to
complain about a privacy breach and how the Promoter will deal with a privacy

26. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic
means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will
render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

27. By entering this competition and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you consent
and agree to receive marketing information, ticketing offers and information about
Deakin Sport from Deakin University by email. A Member will not receive any further
Deakin University Information from Deakin University if that member:
