Who can enter the competition?The competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years and older. Proof of age and identity may be requested. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of Adelaide Oval SMA Limited (the promoter), SANFL, SACA, or associated brands are not eligible to participate.
When does the competition close?The early bird prize entries close on Sunday, 15 December 2024, at 5 PM ACDT, with the winner announced on Tuesday, 17 December 2024.
The main competition for the first, second, and third prizes closes on Sunday, 5 January 2025, at 5 PM ACDT. Winners will be announced on Monday, 6 January 2025.
How can one enter the competition?Participants must:
1. Answer the question, “What is your favourite thing about summer at Adelaide Oval?” in up to 25 words.
2. Submit their entry through the official [Adelaide Oval website](https://www.adelaideoval.com.au).
Only one entry per person is allowed.
What are the prizes and total prize pool amount?The total prize pool is valued at $4,903 AUD (excluding GST) and consists of the following:
Early Bird Prize- Four General Admission Gold Reserve Adult Tickets to the Adelaide Strikers KFC Big Bash New Year’s Eve Game against the Perth Scorchers ($308 value).
- Four tickets to the V-Energy Post Match Bash (adult tickets) ($180 value).
First Prize – The Ultimate Summer Experience- Two Premium Tickets to the CommBank Women’s T20I Australia vs England on Saturday, 25 January 2025 ($780 value).
- Two-night stay at Oval Hotel, including breakfast at Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen (25–26 January 2025) ($1,000 value).
- One Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen voucher ($350 value).
- One double-pass ‘GameOn’ RoofClimb voucher for Sunday, 26 January 2025 ($400 value).
- Two Stadium Tour vouchers ($60 value).
- One Malt Shovel Taphouse voucher ($250 value).
Second Prize – Summer Family Adventure- Four General Admission Gold Reserve tickets to the Adelaide Strikers Big Bash game against the Brisbane Heat at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, 11 January 2025 ($244 value).
- One Adelaide Fringe voucher ($250 value).
- One family pass to Monarto Zoo ($125 value).
- One Malt Shovel Taphouse voucher ($250 value).
- One double-pass RoofClimb voucher ($400 value).
Third Prize – Summer Cricket Day Out- Four General Admission Gold Reserve tickets to the Adelaide Strikers Big Bash game against the Sydney Sixers at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 ($244 value).
- One Malt Shovel Taphouse voucher ($400 value).
Are there any conditions on the prizes?- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods or services.
- Any additional costs, including travel, incidental expenses, or upgrades, are the winner's responsibility.
- Cricket tickets must be used on the specified dates and cannot be redeemed for other events.
- Accommodation bookings and Bespoke Wine Bar & Kitchen reservations are subject to availability.
- If an event is canceled or postponed, the prize validity cannot be extended.
How will winners be selected and notified?Winners will be selected based on skill, judged on the creativity of their responses.
- The early bird winner will be notified by email or phone on 17 December 2024 and must claim their prize by 12 PM ACDT on 20 December 2024.
- Winners of the main prizes will be notified on 6 January 2025 and must claim their prizes by 5 PM ACDT on 8 January 2025.
- If prizes remain unclaimed, unclaimed prize draws will occur on 20 December 2024 (early bird) and 9 January 2025 (main prizes).
