State Theatre Company’s State Education production, Gorgon, is currently in the midst of rehearsals. The play follows Lee a once confident and outgoing personality who resorts to a life of seclusion after he is involved in a brutal car crash that kills his best friend, Maz. In the face of such a tragedy Maz's twin sister, Lola, seeks him out looking for answers.
Written by Elena Carapetis (who is currently starring on stage in Machu Picchu), Gorgon is a theatrical thrill ride that looks at the tricky dividing line between friendship and love, anger and grief. The play stars James Smith as Lee and Chiara Gabrielli in the dual role of both Maz and Lola.
State Theatre Company are giving away a double pass to see this performance to one lucky RAA member.
