Following the unprecedented demand from Sydney-siders attending The Dark Knight Rises at IMAX Darling Harbour, the cinema has announced a very special Batman trilogy event.
With the opportunity to relive all three of Christopher Nolan’s Batman films on the world’s biggest cinema screen over one huge night, this is an event not to be missed for fans of the franchise.
See where it all started with Batman Begins (2005) one of the first feature films to be converted to IMAX using proprietary Digital Remastering technology, and shown for the first time ever at IMAX Darling Harbour.
Guests will then be treated to a screening of The Dark Knight, featuring Heath Ledger’s famed Oscar®-winning performance as The Joker, and 45 minutes of full screen IMAX footage.
The event will conclude with a screening of 2012’s most anticipated film, which has been seen already by more than 40,000 people at Darling Harbour, The Dark Knight Rises. Featuring a record 72 minutes of full screen IMAX footage, it is sure to keep weary eyes awake.
