Who can enter the competition?

The competition is open to Australian residents over the age of 18. Employees of the Sydney Opera House Trust, their immediate families, and agencies and companies associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.

When does the competition close?

The competition closes at 11:59pm on Monday, 28 April 2025 (AEST).

How can one enter the competition?

To enter the competition, participants must complete an online sign-up form available on the Sydney Opera House website during the competition period. Entrants need to provide their contact details and answer the question: "Tell us in 25 words or less why the ultimate spirited getaway should be yours," then submit the form.

What are the prizes and their details?

The total prize pool value is approximately $5,756.80. There will be one major prize winner and two runner-up prizes.
- The major prize includes:
- Return economy flights for two from the winner's nearest capital city to Sydney, including airport/hotel transfers (approx. value $2,900).
- Two nights accommodation for two at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in a Classic King Room (approx. value $1,000).
- Two tickets to a Sigur Rós concert with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at Vivid LIVE 2025 on 24 May 2025 (approx. value $359.80).
- Pre-show dinner and Archie Rose whisky cocktails for two at Midden by Mark Olive at Sydney Opera House (approx. value $500).
- Private whisky tasting for two at the Archie Rose Distilling Co. Bar & Cellar Door, including a tasting of five whiskies and a mixed plate of food (approx. value $223).
- A set of Archie Rose x Sydney Opera House limited edition whiskies (Classical and Contemporary) (total value $258).
