Who is running the competition?

The Promoter is Lavazza Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 94 605 275 107), 117 Church St, Hawthorn VIC 3122. Phone: 1300 307 171.

When will the competition start and end?

The competition starts at 12.01am (AEST) on 22/03/18 and ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 29/08/18 (the Competition Period).

Who can enter?

Only Australian residents aged 18 or over can enter

Who can't enter?

Directors, officers, management and employees of:
the Promoter; or
the agencies or companies or participating outlet(s) associated with this competition,
and their immediate families, can't enter.

Where will the competition run?

The competition will run in participating Lavazza outlets stocking promotional material (Outlets) in the Melbourne Cricket Ground located in Melbourne, Victoria.

Do I need to buy anything to enter?

Yes. During the Competition Period, you need to buy a drink in a specially marked Lavazza promotional cup from an Outlet (Qualifying Purchase) (subject to promotional cup stocks remaining in that Outlet).
Entry instructions
After you have made your Qualifying Purchase and received a promotional cup, you must during the Competition Period:
visit http://winwithlavazza.com.au/mcg (Website) and
fill out and submit the online entry form, including by providing the unique code printed on the base of your promotional cup and all other requested information.
You will be entered into the major and weekly prize draw and will get a return online message to confirm you have entered the promotion.

How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?

There will be 24 winners determined in respect of this competition – 23 weekly winners and 1 major winner.
Weekly draws
There will be 23 weekly draws occurring at 2pm (AEST/AEDT) on of 29/03/18, 05/04/18, 12/04/18, 19/04/18, 26/04/18, 03/05/18, 10/05/18, 17/05/18, 24/05/18, 31/05/18, 07/06/18, 14/06/18, 21/06/18, 28/06/18, 05/07/18, 12/07/18, 19/07/18, 26/07/18, 02/08/18, 09/08/18, 16/08/18, 24/08/18 and 30/08/18 at Immediate Marketing, 191 Ferrars St, Southbank VIC 3006 (Immediate Marketing).
In each weekly draw, the first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the previous Thursday-Wednesday week (AEST/AEDT, as applicable) will win a weekly prize.
Entries will not roll over from one weekly draw to the next but will be included in the major draw.
Major draw
The major draw will be held at 3pm (AEDT) on 31/08/18 at Immediate Marketing.
The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period (including weekly prize winners) will win the major prize.
In each draw, the Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

What can I win?

There are in total 24 prizes available – 23 weekly prizes and 1 major prize.
Each weekly prize is a Lavazza Jolie & Milk Up A Modo Mio Coffee Machine valued at $159.00, a Sherrin Leather Replica Red Football valued at up to $179.99 plus 2 Lavazza keep cups valued at $14.00
The major prize is a trip to Italy for the winner and 1 adult companion organised by Intrepid Travel, valued at up to $14,000 depending on the winner's point of departure plus $2,000 spending money. See paragraph 3 for further major prize details.

How many times can I enter?

You can enter up to 3 times per day, provided you only enter once per unique code. Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

How and when will the winners be informed?

If you are a winner, you will be informed by phone and in writing within three working days of determination and your name and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website on 31/08/18 for a period of 28 days.

If I win, when must I claim my prize?

You must claim your major prize by 5pm (AEDT) on 28/09/18.
You must claim your weekly prize by 5pm (AEDT) on 21/09/18.

What if I don't claim my prize on time?

If a major prize has not been accepted or claimed by 5pm (AEDT) on 28/09/18 or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by this time and date, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at 11am (AEDT) on 01/10/18 at Immediate Marketing to distribute the relevant prize/s. Any such winner/s will be informed by phone and in writing within two days and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the Website on 01/10/18 for a period of 28 days.
These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Entry
Your entry must be received during the Competition Period. Your entry is deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter's database. You will receive a return online message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple aliases you may be disqualified.
Prizes
If you win the major prize, your prize will be a trip for two (two) people on Intrepid Travel's 14 day Best of Italy (ZMSV) small group tour and includes:
Return economy airfares (including airfare taxes) for you and your companion from your nearest Australian major city to Italy (and an internal flight if required).
The prize package has a prize value of up to $14,000 and cannot be split up into different packages and must be taken at once. Prizes are not exchangeable, are not transferrable [to another traveller] and cannot be redeemed for an equivalent cash value. Travellers must be 18 years to qualify.
$2,000 spending money
Travel must be arranged by the winner by contacting enquiries@intrepidtravel.com and cannot be booked through a Travel Agent.
The trip is subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel. Tour details can be found at https://www.intrepidtravel.com/au/italy/best-italy-108169. Itineraries and inclusions are subject to change without notice. Intrepid Travel's 2500 bonus Qantas Points will not form part of the prize.
Trip must be booked before 31 Dec 2018 and travel must be completed before 31 Oct 2019. No extension is available. Please note that a minimum of 4 travellers must be confirmed on the Intrepid trip for the for prize winner booking to be confirmed on their requested date, please check at time of booking.
The promotor is not responsible for prize winners who do not claim their prize by the book by date. Once booked, any changes made to the booking may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee, at the cost of the winner. Prize cannot be used on existing bookings or in conjunction with any other Intrepid or third party discounts or special offers.
Travel Insurance is required to be held by all Intrepid travellers & is not included in the prize. Flight upgrades, travel insurance, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, passports, travel visas required, wildlife/park fees or local payments (where applicable), transport as required to and from departure point, single supplement and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. There is no cash value to this prize & cannot be exchanged or transferred. Standard booking conditions apply. Please refer to the Booking Conditions on Intrepid's website www.intrepidtravel.com
General
If you are a winner, you (and your companion, if applicable) must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You (and your companion, if applicable) consent to the Promoter using your names and images in any promotional or advertising activity.
You and your companion accept that some aspects of the major prize can be inherently risky and that the prize may involve dangerous activities.
You and your companion must, if required by the Promoter, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter and other parties before taking the prize. If you or your nominated companion does not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to a prize.
If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
You must not:
tamper with the entry process;
engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
breach any law; or
behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
If you are a major winner, you are responsible for your companion and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or your companion if they breach these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them.
If you (or your companion, if applicable), in the opinion of the Promoter, are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you (and your companion) from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion.
The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
The Promoter's decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor (except where cash is specified) redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
By entering, you request that your full address not be published.
Printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter's control will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Every prize claim in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured, unless the claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
By accepting or participating in any prize, your companion accepts these Terms and Conditions.
If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office's stated view that where the parties are at arm's length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prizes. Prizes will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook or Instagram. However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram. You completely release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability.
Collection and use of your personal information
The Promoter may collect your (and your companion's, if applicable) personal information directly or through its agents or contractors. The Promoter will use your (and your companion's, if applicable) personal information to conduct the competition. The Promoter may disclose your (and your companion's, if applicable) personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition and communicating with you or your companion. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as Italy.
