Win Twelve Scoot FlyBag Return Economy Flights - 1. General1.1 This campaign (“Campaign” or “Competition”) is organised by Trip.com Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 36 620 935 408) of Level 13, 2 Park Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia (“Trip.com”). Trip.com is responsible for the publication and adjudication of this Competition as well as the provision of the prizes.1.2 Information on how to enter and prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.1.3. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who reside in Australia, for the date of their winning prize. Employees (and their immediate families) of Trip.com, sponsors, collaborating partners and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.1.4 By entering this Competition, Entrants will be deemed to be bound by and agree to the current and applicable terms and policies imposed by Trip.com and the following Terms of the Competition stated below.1.5 Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition are to be directed to Trip.com. To Enter and Eligibility2.1 Individuals can enter through all Trip.com platforms including our app, website, and mobile website.2.2 Any data usage in accessing the entry pages through a suitable mobile phone is at the cost to the individual.2.3 To submit an entry, the entrant must:2.3.1 Visit the relevant Trip.com page.2.3.2 Sign in a member of Trip.com or Register as a member of Trip.com and sign in.2.3.3 Enter their full name, email address and mobile number.2.4 Mobile phone data collected in this format will only be used to contact the winner.2.5 No purchase is necessary to enter or win this Competition.2.6 All entries must be received by [2359] AEST on 12 November 2019.3. The Submission Restrictions3.1 Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.3.2 Individuals cannot enter multiple times.3.3 Trip.com reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at Trip.com's discretion. Failure by Trip.com to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.4. Winner determination and announcement4.1 The winner will be determined at random by Trip.com Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 36 620 935 408) of Level 13, 2 Park Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia at [1300] AEST on 18 November 2019.4.2 The winner will be notified by Trip.com, via email or phone by [2359] AEST on 18 November 2019. Trip.com’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.4.4 The Competition consists of one Prize. The prize will be selected at random by computer generation.4.5 The Prize includes:Twelve (12) x Economy “FlyBag” return tickets from Australia to Any Destination on Scoot-operated flights only. Interline or multi-city flights are not permitted.Each return ticket includes the cost of air fare, taxes and 20kg check in baggage allowance per passenger only.4.5.1 Estimated total Prize pool value is $9,999. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.4.6 Prize includes flights only. All flights will be booked by a designated Scoot representative in accordance with their Frequently Asked Questions/Terms and Conditions per flight which can be viewed here*. Entrants must have valid identification in accordance with the aviation act.4.7 The winner is responsible for all costs outside what is specified by Scoot’s Terms.4.8 The winner will not accrue any frequent flyer points from taking the prize. Flights are non-refundable and non-transferrable.4.9 The winner must email hello@trip.com within 24 hours after receiving the winner notification.4.10 After being contacted by Trip.com, the winner must confirm his/her acceptance of the Prize, this Terms and Conditions and the attendance of him/her and guests.4.11 If for any reason the Prize winner does not confirm his/her acceptance (by Scoot) of the Prize, this Terms and Conditions and his/her attendance at the event, the Prize will be given to a selected runner-up (at the discretion of Trip.com).4.12 If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, Trip.com, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification.4.13 If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the applicable prize may be awarded to a runner-up, if any, in Trip.com’s sole discretion. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify each winner’s agreement and consent that Trip.com and its designees may use the winner’s name, city, state, likeness, Submission and/or prize information in connection with the Competition for promotional, advertising or other purposes, royalty-free, transferrable, sub-licensable, irrevocable, worldwide, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment, notification, permission or other consideration, except where prohibited by law.4.14 The prize is subject to Scoot terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction.4.15 Following confirmation of acceptance of the prize, Scoot will get in touch with the winner who may decide to use all twelve (12) return flights for themselves or to take a companion for a total of six (6) return flights each.4.16 The decision to give a companion six (6) return flights is final and can not be changed or adjusted for more individual flights at a later date.4.17 All future correspondence to claim and redeem the prize will be through Scoot and via Goodies@flyscoot.com.4.18 Entrants, as well as their nominated family members/guest shall grant Trip.com and Scoot the royalty free, worldwide, sub-licensable, perpetual right/license to use the their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event as winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by Trip.com.4.19 Trip.com, and Scoot reserve the right to change the Prize mechanics of the Campaign at any time upon notification.4.20 Trip.com will provide at 48 hours notification of any changes to the operation of this Campaign as contemplated throughout these Terms and Conditions by providing a new set of Terms and Conditions for the Campaign.4.21 The prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. It is non-refundable and cannot be altered in any way.Scoot Prize Terms and Conditions1. What do I have?Your prize is 01 Economy “FlyBag” return ticket from Australia to Any Destination; on Scoot-operated flights only. Interline or multi-city flights are not permitted. How can I redeem my free tickets?Once you have your plans ready, please write to Goodies@flyscoot.com at least 10 days in advance of your intended departure date using the subject header “I’m the Trip.com x Scoot FLYBAG Winner” and include a copy of this letter, your preferred travel dates* and the following details in your email:• Last Name (Surname) as per passport• First Name (Given Name) as per passport• Gender• Date of Birth• Nationality• Passport Number• Country of Issue• Date of Expiry• Home Address• Contact Number (Mobile and Home/Business)Please note that if you do not sufficiently provide the details required as stated above, there may be a delay in the processing of your booking, for which Scoot will not be responsible.The Goodies Team will respond to your email within 10 working days (or earlier) to assist with your booking. Please do not send multiple email requests as that will result in your email being sent to the end of the response queue; the Goodies Team responds to email in the order it was received. You will receive a redemption confirmation email after your booking has been completed. To secure your booking, please email the Goodies Team early as seats are subject to availability and not guaranteed until payment is received in full and an itinerary receipt is emailed to you.* For flight schedule/ timing, refer to FlyScoot.com. Due to the volume of redemptions the Goodies Team has to process daily, the team will not be able to entertain scheduling enquiries.3. I have made my flight booking; can I change my flight timing/date or traveler details?All free tickets once redeemed/ booked may not be changed, cancelled, refunded or credited towards other flights. If you have received return tickets as your prize, but have only redeemed/booked a one-way journey or for one (01) passenger, your return ticket becomes void for further use; you must book both flights in one itinerary. Similarly, if you have received tickets for two (2) or more passengers as your prize, and have only redeemed/booked flights for some but not all passengers, the remaining ticket(s) become void for further use; you must book flights for all passengers in one itinerary.4. Why can’t I redeem my tickets online?Scoot’s online booking system currently does not allow free ticket redemptions. All free ticket redemptions are managed by The Goodies Team at Goodies@flyscoot.com5. Can I redeem my tickets through Scoot Call Centre?No. You may only redeem your tickets through Goodies@flyscoot.com6. Where can I find more information on fares, fees and conditions of carriage?Please visit FlyScoot.com.7. Are there any extra costs that I will have to pay?Your ticket includes the cost of air fare, taxes and 20kg check in baggage allowance only. You will have to pay for all required surcharge, as well as any and all ancillary products and services including, but not limited to, travel insurance, extra baggage, meal upgrade, payment processing fees, etc.8. Are the tickets transferable?Tickets are strictly non-transferable, and will be void if bartered, exchanged, bought or sold.9. Can I purchase additional tickets?You may purchase additional tickets at FlyScoot.com if required. Purchase of additional tickets is subject to availability. However, in all cases where additional tickets are required, please confirm your redemption tickets first, because we cannot guarantee that your redemption seats will be on the same flight as your purchased seats. Scoot will not be responsible for any loss or inconvenience in the event that the purchased seats and redemption seats cannot be booked on the same flight/itinerary.10. Full Terms and Conditions (“terms and conditions”)• You will be entitled to 01 Economy “FlyBag” return ticket from Australia to Any Destination on Scoot-operated flights only. Interline or multi-city flights are not permitted.• The ticket is not eligible for Economy “Fly”, Economy “FlyBagEat” or ScootBiz. You will not be able to upgrade your ticket(s) to ScootBiz during booking. Subject to availability, you may do so at check-in or on-board, in which case you will have to pay any applicable upgrade fees/charges.• The ticket includes the cost of air fare, taxes and 20kg check in baggage allowance per passenger only.• The ticket is not eligible for frequent flyer mileage accrual and cannot be used in conjunction with any other upgrade awards.• Where you have received more than one (1) ticket as your prize, all tickets may only be redeemed for passengers travelling on the same itinerary/flights. All passengers must travel together on the entire itinerary. Separate bookings and open-jaw travel are not permitted.• Passengers shall be responsible to ensure that they have all necessary visa and any other travel documents/ approval(s).• If you have received return tickets as your prize, but have only redeemed/booked a one-way journey or for one (01) passenger, your return ticket becomes void for further use; you must book both flights in one itinerary. Similarly, if you have received tickets for two (2) or more passengers as your prize, and have only redeemed/booked flights for some but not all passengers, the remaining ticket(s) become void for further use; you must book flights for all passengers in one itinerary.• Your ticket must be redeemed at least thirty (10) days before the departure date of your preferred flight.• Travel must be completed no later than *12 months from date of issue. Extension is not permitted and request(s) for extension will not be entertained.• Travel is subject to availability of seats for redemption and on a first-come-first-served basis. Seats available for redemption are limited and separate from seats available for commercial purchase, i.e. if a seat is available for a given flight on FlyScoot.com or our Call Centre, it may not necessarily be available for redemption. Please check with The Goodies Team for the blackout period of your intended destination. Seats are not available for redemption during blackout periods which includes, but not limited to the following dates.• Scoot does not accept any responsibility in the event that you are unable to book a redemption flight or unable to travel.• Once booked, flight(s) may not be changed, re-routed, cancelled, refunded or credited toward other flights for any reason whatsoever. Name change is also not permitted.• Ancillary products and services (e.g. travel insurance, extra baggage, etc.), excluding meals, may be added up to 4 hours before departure through the “Manage My Booking” tool on FlyScoot.com, or by contacting our Call Centre. Meals may only be added up to 72 hours before departure.• You will have to pay for all required surcharge, as well as any and all ancillary products and services including, but not limited to, travel insurance, extra baggage, meal upgrade, payment processing fees, etc.• Full payment, if any, must be made within 48 hours of the issuance of the redemption confirmation email. Extension is not permitted and reminders will not be sent. Failure to make payment within the stipulated time frame will result in the tickets being forfeited and booking being cancelled. In such an event, you will not be allowed to re-book /redeem your prize ticket(s). Scoot may, at its sole discretion and subject to seat availability, reinstate the cancelled booking at an administrative fee of SGD$100.00 (or equivalent) per passenger.• All payment must be made using American Express, Visa or MasterCard only. Payment through AXS, POLi, Alipay or any other methods are not valid and constitutes a breach of the terms and conditions and will result in your booking being cancelled without any refund.• Tickets are strictly non-transferable, and will be void if bartered, exchanged, bought or sold.• Prize tickets have no cash value. No cash or credit alternative will be offered if the tickets are not redeemed.• Scoot reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms and conditions without notice, at any time.• Scoot also reserves the right to cancel your booking, even if payment has been made, in the event of any breach of the terms and conditions and you will forfeit the prize and any payment made without refund, and you acknowledge that Scoot has no liability to you.• All travel pursuant to prize tickets shall be subject to Scoot’s prevailing terms and conditions, policies, regulations and conditions of carriage as may be set out in the respective prize tickets or such other document evidencing the same, unless expressly notified otherwise by Scoot.• In the event of any discrepancy between the terms set out herein and in Scoot’s prevailing terms and conditions, policies, regulations and conditions of carriage on the one hand, and any terms and conditions issued by the organiser of the competition/event/activity through which you won the prize ticket(s) on the other hand, the terms of the former shall prevail.• By submitting a redemption request, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions.English (Australia)AU$AUD
