What are the prize details for this competition?
Win your share of up to $16,000 worth of Haier appliances! - WHO CAN ENTER?
Entries are only open to Australian residents 18 years and over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister or 1st cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The period for uploading a photo commences at AEST 9am on 03.11.14 and ends at AEST 11:59pm on 11.01.14 (the Photo Entry Period).
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the Promotion, entrants must either:
a. go online to http://chaos.haier.com.au (the Site) and enter his or her details at the appropriate entry page;
b. upload a photo of their “Everyday Chaos” to the Site during the Photo Entry Period (each a Photo Entry). Each Photo Entry will be reviewed by the Promoter, in its sole discretion, to ensure that it does not contain offensive material. If the Photo Entry is approved, it will be uploaded to the Site and the entrant will receive an email advising that his or her Photo Entry has been approved and uploaded. If the Photo Entry is not approved, it will be rejected and the entrant will not receive an approval email. The Promoter’s decision is final. Once uploaded to the Site, members of the public will be able to vote on each Photo Entry. The entrant whose Photo Entry receives the most votes at the end of each Voting Week from Week 1 to Week 10 (inclusive) will progress to the semi-finals (each a Semi-Finalist). At the end of each Voting Week, the voting will reset and, in weeks 1 to 10 (inclusive), each Semi-Finalist’s Photo Entry will be removed from the voting platform. Members of the public will then be able to vote on each Semi-Finalist’s Photo Entry during Week 11. The five Semi-Finalists whose Photo Entries receive the most votes at the end of Week 11 will progress to the finals (each a Finalist). Members of the public will then be able to vote on each Finalist’s Photo Entry during Week 12. The Finalist whose Photo Entry receives the most votes at the end of Week 12 will be the winner (Major Prize Winner – Photo); or
c. go to the Site and, following the relevant prompts, complete 3 rounds of voting for the best Photo Entry and answer in 25 words or less “How will you take charge of your Everyday Chaos with new Haier appliances?”(together, a Voting Entry). The Promoter will select ten entrants per Voting Week based on the best answer to the question above (each a Voting Entry Winner). At the end of the Voting Entry Period, the Promoter will select one winner from the Voting Entry Winners based on the overall best answer to the above question (Major Prize Winner – Voting).
PRIZES:
The winners of the Promotion will receive, delivered to the delivery address provided on the online redemption form, the relevant prize, as outlined below, from the total prize pool of up to RRP $31,600:
a. each Semi-Finalist will receive Haier appliances of their choice, selected from Haier’s current range at haier.com.au, up to a maximum RRP $1,000 (Semi-Finalist Prize). There will be a total of 10 Semi-Finalists and therefore 10 Semi-Finalist Prizes to be won, with a total prize pool of up to $10,000. The prize does not include the installation of the appliance(s);
b. in addition to the Semi-Finalist Prize already received, the Major Prize Winner – Photo will receive Haier appliances of their choice, selected from Haier’s current range at haier.com.au, up to a maximum RRP $4,000 (Major Prize – Photo). There is one Major Prize – Photo to be won. The prize does not include the installation of the appliance(s);
c. each Voting Entry Winner will receive 6 months of Finish products, comprising of 80 Finish Quantum Powerball Tablets, and up to RRP $70 worth of cleaning products, maximum RRP $130 (Voting Entry Prize). There will be a total of 120 Voting Entry Winners and therefore 120 Voting Entry Prizes to be won, with a total prize pool of up to RRP $15,600. 6 months’ supply of Finish products has been calculated based on Nielson Scantrack data dated 15.12.13. The average dishwasher usage frequency is 2.37 washes per week (62 washes per 6 months);
d. the Major Prize Winner – Voting will receive Haier appliances of their choice, selected from Haier’s current range at haier.com.au, up to a maximum RRP $2,000 (Major Prize – Voting). There is one Major Prize – Voting to be won. The prize does not include the installation of the appliance(s).
