What are the prize details for this competition?
Win your 'Sharpie' art on the movie screen + a VIP cinema experience for you & 29 mates! - To be eligible to enter, individuals must create a piece of artwork using Sharpie pen/s. This may be done by decorating and/or colouring in any physical medium (e.g. paper, canvas, etc.) or by personalising an everyday item (e.g. a plain shoe, hat, t-shirt, etc.) using the Sharpie pen/s. Entrants must follow these rules for their piece of artwork: (a) the physical medium/item must be the entrant’s own property and entrants must not deface anyone else’s property or public property; (b) the physical medium/item must not include any pre-existing material in which copyright exists (e.g. the design printed on a t-shirt) unless the entrant has the express written permission of the copyright owner to use it in their entry and the entrant will be judged based on the personalisation made by the entrant excluding the pre-existing design; (c) any trade marks appearing on the physical medium/item must be left intact and must not be drawn on, defaced, concealed, obscured, obliterated, modified or removed (whether as part of the personalisation process or otherwise); (d) the photograph must not focus on or emphasise any trade marks appearing on the physical medium/item; (e) the photograph must show the actual personalisation of the physical medium/item (if applicable) and must not be edited, manipulated or “photoshopped” (other than cropping or resizing the photograph); (f) the piece of artwork must not contain any person(s) (apart from the entrant either as the physical medium/item or in the background of the photograph of the artwork; and (g) the personalisation and the photograph must be the entrant’s own work. To enter, individuals must then complete the following steps during the Entry Period: a) visit the Sharpie Australia & NZ Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/SharpieANZ (“Sharpie Facebook Page”); b) become a fan of the Facebook Page by clicking the ‘like’ button (if not an existing fan of the Sharpie Facebook Page); c) follow the prompts to the entry form contained on the Sharpie Cinema Art Promotion Application; d) input the requested details (including their full name, telephone number, and a valid email address); e) upload a photograph of the piece of artwork they created using Sharpie pen/s. and f) submit the fully completed entry form so it is received by 11:00am AEDST on 07/02/2013. To vote, individuals must complete the following steps during the Voting Period: a) visit the Sharpie Facebook Page; b) become a fan of the Sharpie Facebook Page by clicking the ‘like’ button (if not an existing fan of the Sharpie Facebook Page); and c) follow the prompts to the Voting Gallery contained on the Sharpie Cinema Art Promotion Application; and d) click the “Vote” button corresponding to the Finalist Entry they determine to be the most original and creative. The Finalist Entry that receives the most valid votes, as at the end of the Voting Period, will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner and will win the Grand Prize outlined below. The remaining nine (9) Finalist Entries will each be deemed a Runner Up Prize Winner. In the event that two (2) or more Finalist Entries receive the highest number of votes at the end of the Voting Period, the Promoter will judge each of these tied entries, and the Promoter will select which tied entry will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. Each tied-entry will be judged based on the originality and creative merit of the piece of artwork. The Grand Prize winner will win: (i) a Village Cinemas Gold Class, Event Cinemas Gold Class, Greater Union Gold Class, Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold Class, or Hoyts Directors Suite Movie Event, with the exact prize awarded determined in accordance with clause 24 (“Event”) for thirty (30) people (i.e. the winner and twenty-nine (29) Sharpie Cinema Art Facebook Terms and Conditions - Sharpie REVISED 17 Dec FINALs 2012/2013 4 guests), valued at up to AU$2,000; and (ii) will have their winning entry appear in a Sharpie cinema advertisement. The remaining nine (9) Finalist Entries will each win: (i) eleven (11) cinema tickets, valued at AU$110 (for Australian residents) and NZ$115.50 (for New Zealand residents); and (ii) will have their winning entry appear in a Sharpie cinema advertisement (“Runner Up Winners”).
