Who can enter the Win a Qatar Airways F1® 2024 Fan Package competition?

The competition is open to Velocity members who are Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

When does the competition close?

The competition closes at 11:59pm AEST on 30 September 2024.

How can one enter the competition?

To enter, you must book an international ticket marketed by Virgin Australia or Qatar Airways and operated by Qatar Airways in a fare class that earns Velocity Points, enter your Velocity membership number in the booking, fill out the competition entry form on the Velocity competition landing page with your details and answer the question creatively in 25 words or less. You must also fly on the booked Eligible Flight between 12 March 2024 and 30 September 2024.

What are the prizes?

There are 2 Qatar Airways F1® 2024 Fan Packages to be won. Each package includes return airfares for 2 from Australia to Doha, 3 nights accommodation in Doha in 5-star accommodation with breakfast, and 2 F1 "Main Grandstand" tickets.

What is the total prize pool amount?

The total prize value is approximately AUD$6,800-22,000, depending on the class of travel awarded.

How will winners be selected and notified?

Winners will be selected based on the originality, creative merit, and relevance of their answers. Judging will take place on 7 October 2024, and winners will be notified in writing within five business days.

What are some key conditions of the prizes?

- The class of air service won depends on the highest booking class flown on Qatar Airways during the promotional period that was eligible to earn Velocity Points. - Travel must be booked by 18 October 2024. - Winners and their companions are responsible for obtaining any required visas and travel insurance. - The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. - Winners are responsible for any additional costs not expressly included in the prize description.

How is privacy handled in the competition?

Entrants' personal information will be collected for the purpose of conducting the competition and may be used for promotional and marketing purposes by Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd. Entrants can opt-out of marketing communications and find more information in the Velocity Privacy Policy.

What are the intellectual property conditions?

Entrants assign all intellectual property rights in any material created as part of their entry to the Promoter and consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and voice for promotional purposes without remuneration.
