TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The promoter is Godfrey Hirst Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 58 000 849 758) of 7 Factories Road South Geelong, Australia (“Godfrey Hirst”).  Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. 
2. The competition commences at 9am AEDT on Monday 1 August 2016 and ends at 5pm AEDT on Monday 31 October 2016 (“Promotion Period”).
3. To enter, an entrant must purchase and install a Godfrey Hirst eco+ carpet from a participating retailer during the Promotion Period and complete an online entry at www.ecopluscarpet.com.au by 5pm AEDT on Wednesday 30 November 2016.  Requirement of entry includes 25 words or less as to “why you chose Godfrey Hirst eco+ carpet”
4. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the response to our invitation “Tell us why you chose Godfrey Hirst eco+ carpet”. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. 
5. Entry into this competition is open to all Australian residents aged eighteen (18) years and over. Employees of Godfrey Hirst Australia Pty Ltd (“Godfrey Hirst”), or any of their related bodies corporate, and their immediate families, associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter the competition.
6. All responses will be read and judged by a judging panel at Godfrey Hirst at 7 Factories Rd, South Geelong VIC 3220 on or prior to 5 pm AEDT Monday, 5 December 2016 at which time the winning entry will be determined. The winner will be notified by email and the competition results posted on the Godfrey Hirst website www.godfreyhirst.com within 1 working day of the judging date. Winners will be determined on their creativity. Chance plays no part in this competition.
7. Subject to clause 9, Godfrey Hirst will remit $20,000 (including GST) to the winner’s nominated bank account by 5pm AEDT 19 December 2016.
8. The winning participant must be the homeowner of the house/unit into which the eco+ carpet is installed.
9. The prize is not transferable and the winner’s bank nominated account details must be communicated to Godfrey Hirst by way of email to general.enquiries@godfreyhirst.com, no later than Friday 16 December 2016 to redeem the prize. If the prize is not redeemed by Friday 16 December 2016, the prize is forfeit.
10. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting any prize is the responsibility of the winner.
11. Godfrey Hirst reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of age and/or identity or proof of residency at the home in which the floor is to be installed.  Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Godfrey Hirst.
12. Godfrey Hirst reserves the right to announce or publish the winners’ names and/or entry for publicity purposes. The winner also agrees for Godfrey Hirst to contact the winner for an interview on the carpet selection process and to photograph the installed eco+ carpet for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. In consideration for Godfrey Hirst awarding a prize to a winner, the winner hereby assigns to Godfrey Hirst all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner’s participation in any aspect of the competition (“Works”). Each winner acknowledges that Godfrey Hirst is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
13. Certain personal information of entrants will be collected in order to conduct the competition. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the competition.  Participant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and the winner’s name published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.  Full information in respect to Godfrey Hirst’s policies on handling personal information of its customers, being individuals, is set out at www.godfreyhirst.com, or can be obtained by contacting Head Office Ph (03) 5225 0222.   By entering the competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant authorizes Godfrey Hirst and any of its agents or contractors to seek access to, collect and use such information or disclose that information between themselves for the purpose of administering the competition and the provision or performance of services relating to the competition and for future marketing, promotional and publicity purposes, including sending the entrant electronic messages.
14. Godfrey Hirst reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel any aspect of this competition and/or the prize and will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
15. Godfrey Hirst and its associated body corporates, their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of entering this competition or receiving, taking or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. The decision of Godfrey Hirst shall be final in all matters relating to the application of any rule or other aspect of this program
