What is the COLORBOND® Made By You competition?
The COLORBOND® Made By You competition is organised by BlueScope and invites Australian residents who have completed a build, renovation, or extension project using COLORBOND® steel to participate. Entrants must be the registered legal owners of the property where the project was completed. The competition aims to showcase inspiring projects that utilise COLORBOND® steel in creative and aesthetically appealing ways.
What are the prizes for the COLORBOND® Made By You competition?
The COLORBOND® Made By You competition offers a total prize pool of $35,000. Each of the best twelve entries per entry period wins a $500 prepaid debit card. Additionally, one major winner at the end of the promotional period will receive $11,000 via electronic funds transfer. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable, and any ancillary costs are not included.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes at 11:59 PM AEST on 30 November 2026. Entries are divided into five entry periods, each with specific opening and closing dates, culminating in the final closing date at the end of November.
How do I enter the competition?
To enter the competition, eligible participants must visit colorbond.com/made-by-you during the promotional period. They need to upload up to three photographs of their project, input personal and project details, and submit the completed online entry form. Multiple entries are allowed if each entry is unique and complies with the entry requirements.
Who is eligible to enter the COLORBOND® Made By You competition?
Eligibility for the COLORBOND® Made By You competition is limited to Australian residents aged 18 and over who are registered legal owners of a residential property where a project using COLORBOND® steel has been completed. Corporations, companies, trusts, and employees of the promoter are not eligible to enter.
How is the winner selected?
Winners are selected through a judging process based on skill, with no element of chance involved. Entries are judged on creativity, design, aesthetic impact, and how well they reflect personal style. Judging takes place at BlueScope in Mascot, NSW, on specified dates for each entry period.
How will the winner be notified?
Winners will be notified by telephone and email following the judging process. This ensures that all winners are informed promptly about their success in the competition.
