The yourtown Prize Home Draw 562 is open to people aged 18 years and over. Members of the yourtown Board of Directors, Executive Management, anyone engaged in the draw process, all yourtown Information and Technology staff, and the immediate families of those people are not eligible. Overseas non-Australian citizens or residents must check that their own country allows them to buy a ticket, and New Zealand citizens holding a subclass 444 Special Category visa can take part.

Ticket sales for the yourtown Mermaid Waters prize home draw close at 10:00pm AEST, Tuesday 22 December 2026. The first prize is drawn by barrel at 2:00pm AEST on Wednesday 23 December 2026 at Suite 5 Cordova Street, Milton QLD, and streamed on Facebook Live. Winners are notified by phone and in writing by email and registered mail on the day of the draw, and results are published on the yourtown website the same day.

Win the $5.7 million Mermaid Waters prize home package, a first prize valued at $5,778,000. It includes a five-bedroom, five-bathroom waterfront home at 47 Vatakoula Parade, Mermaid Waters, Qld ($5,450,000), furniture and electrical ($192,939), a Quintrex 430 Fishabout Pro boat and trailer ($45,197), $20,000 in gold bullion, $3,000 of Christmas presents, 12 months of council rates and water ($6,177), 12 months of home and contents insurance ($5,000), window dressings ($18,249), improvements ($36,678) and transfer fees ($760). Draw 562 also has bonus and member draws, including four bonus cash prizes from $5,000 to $10,000, a $10,000 myplace 2nd Chance Draw and a $50,000 myplace Member Bonus Draw (travel voucher or gold bullion).

Entry is by buying a yourtown prize home ticket, with tickets priced at $15 and limited to 750,000 tickets in Draw 562. Customers who buy tickets directly through Oz Lotteries can only win the first prize and the MultiChance prize, not the member or bonus prizes. The first prize is drawn by barrel, and the member and bonus draws are drawn by random generator.
