Directed by Ava DuVernay, and produced by Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey, Oscar nominated SELMA is the story of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s (David Oyelowo) historic struggle to secure voting rights for African-Americans. The film charts the riotous three-month period in 1965 when King led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition, ultimately leading to the introduction of the Voting Rights Act in 1965.
2015 is the 50th anniversary of this pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement and RN is giving you the chance to watch SELMA before it officially releases in cinemas.
