To celebrate the launch of Bar 127’s deluxe burger menu, one lucky reader of The Weekend Edition will win a dining experience for ten people, including a gourmet burger of your choice, seasoned fries and drink, valued at $300.
Charlotte Street’s Bar 127 has beefed up its menu with a range of gourmet burgers that won’t break the bank. Mouth-watering burgers include the classic Nothing Jr About Me, topped with cheddar, onion, pickles, lettuce, tomato and ketchup, or the I’m Hot, with lettuce, lombardi peppers, sharp cheddar, Spanish onion and chilli relish. Lamb is served with chevre, charred red peppers and cucumber salsa, while crispy suckling pig is paired with porchetta stuffing, kohlrabi slaw and Newstead Brewing Co. porter gravy. Chicken lovers can bite into chicken breast, crispy speck, Swiss cheese, avocado salsa, lettuce and mayo, and pescetarians can go for grilled or battered fish with iceberg lettuce, cucumber ribbons and salsa vierge. Vegetarians are catered for too – there’s the fried haloumi, grilled eggplant, chargrilled zucchini, tomato, lettuce and salsa verde burger, or a tasty falafel number served with tabouleh, pickled red onion and tzatziki.
