The Terms and Conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of Western Australia.
The competition is being run by Publications & Exhibitions Australia Pty Ltd, 160 Beaufort St, Perth, Western Australia, 6000 (“Publications & Exhibitions Australia”).
The Win A Watch game of skill (“the competition”) commences at 6am Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) on Monday, 27th January 2020.
The closing time for entering the competition has been extended to 5pm AWST on Monday, 24th February 2020.
Entry to the competition is limited to entrants who submit their name, email, contact number and reason for entering.
To enter the competition, the entrant must register online (https://australianminingreview.com.au/win-a-watch/) and must not be a Publications & Exhibitions Australia staff member or a family member of a Publications & Exhibitions Australia staff member; and
Does not involve an additional entry fee. Entrants will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the competition, which may include costs associated with accessing the internet.
Entrants may only enter the competition once
There will be two (2) separate prizes. The prizes will be 1x Hunter Underground Automatic Coal Miners Watch per winning entrant.
There will be two (2) winners determined by 12pm Australian Western Standard Time on Wednesday, 26th February 2020 at the Publications & Exhibitions Australia Office. The entries will be judged by an employee of Publications & Exhibitions Australia. A runner up will also be selected in case the prize is not redeemed the following (1) day.
The prize winners will be notified by email the following (1) day by the name and email address supplied by the entrant on the subscription registration form.
If the prize winner does not respond to claim the prize the following (1) day of the draw, a runner up will be selected, in the same location, and with the same method. Redraws will continue in the same manner until all prizes have been claimed by prize winners.
If the prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.
The distribution of the prize will be handled by Publications & Exhibitions Australia.
The prize winner, or if under the age of 18 years their parent or legal guardian, may be required to provide evidence of their identity (such as photographic ID, birth certificate or current passport) when receiving the prize.
The prize winner will be responsible for all costs associated with collecting and using the prize.
By entering the competition the entrant agrees that they are over the age of 18 years, of if under the age of 18 years, have their parent’s or
legal guardian’s consent to enter the competition.
The prize is not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize.
The prize is not transferrable.
The prize winner’s name may be published on the Publications & Exhibitions Australia website. By entering the competition, entrants grant Publications & Exhibitions Australia permission to use their full name and suburb on its website for up to six months from the date of the draw.
Publications & Exhibitions Australia is not responsible in any manner whatsoever for any problems or any financial costs incurred, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other persons related to or resulting from participation in this competition.
Publications & Exhibitions Australia accepts no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property whether direct or indirect, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prize, either during or after the competition.
Details entered into the form will be shared with a 3rd party (Incentivate).
Entry into the competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. Entrants are required to abide by the Terms and Conditions as presented.
Publications & Exhibitions Australia’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Personal information provided by an entrant to Publications & Exhibitions Australia for the purpose of entering the Competition will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with Publications & Exhibitions Australia’ Privacy Statement. Personal information collected will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed to any third party otherwise than in accordance with the Publications & Exhibitions Australia privacy statement and these Terms and Conditions.
