2016 EA OF THE YEAR AWARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
This Competition is conducted by Michael Page International (Australia) Pty Limited ABN 58 002 872 264 of Level 32, 225 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, telephone (02) 8292 2000.
Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may at its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Entry Criteria
Entry to this Competition is open to all Australian residents over the age of 18 who are
currently employed in an Executive Assistant (EA) or a Personal Assistant (PA) role or any other role where their primary responsibility of the role is providing support to one or more individuals.
Entrants need to have been in their current role for a minimum of 6 months.
Entrants are not permitted to enter the Competition using more than one name or enter the Competition on behalf of any third party. Entrants that are discovered to have done so will be disqualified from the Competition without notice.
Any costs of accessing the Page Personnel website will be dependent on the entrant’s individuate Internet Service Provider and the Promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with such internet access or entering the Competition
Entry into the Competition is free and does not require or involve the purchase of any service or product offered by the Promoter
Promoter’s employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter
Competition Period
The competition opens at 9:00am (AEST) on Thursday 18th August 2016 and closes at 5:00pm (AEST) Thursday 8st September 2016.
Any entry or vote received after the expiry will be deemed invalid and will not be counted and any such late entrant will be excluded from participation in the Competition
How to Enter
To enter the Competition, entrants must:
Go to the Promoters website located at www.pagepersonnel.com.au
Complete the application form and provide a written statement of 500 words or less setting out the reasons what the entrant deserves to win
When a valid entry has been received that is compliant with these Terms and Conditions, notification will be sent to the entrant
The Contest Winner will be selected by the Promoter's panel of judges based on the panel's assessment of the entrants' written statement. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize winners will be announced on at 9.00am (AEST) Friday 16th September 2016 on the Promoter's website, Facebook page and blog and the winner will be contacted directly.
The Promoter will attempt to contact the prize winners within 14 days of the date of the prize announcement. In the event that a prize winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter will retain the prize for 6 months from the date of the judges' decision. If any prize is unclaimed within 6 months of the judges' decision, the judges may, at their discretion, determine another winner.
Prize (subject to the below terms)
The First Prize Winner will receive two return Economy Airfare Tickets from a major airport in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland or Western Australia to either New York or Cabo San Lucas. (Approximate value of the prize is $10,000).
The First Prize Winner will also receive:
A corporate gift hamper from T2 valued at $750
A gift voucher from Red Balloon valued at $150
A Nutribullet valued at $150
A gift voucher from Lorna Jane valued at $250
3 Runner-Up Prizes will be awarded. The Runner Up winners will each receive:
A corporate gift hamper from T2 valued at $350
A gift voucher from Lorna Jane valued at $50
Liability and Privacy
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damages or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking of the prize(s) or entering into this completion. The Promoter makes no representation or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligence by the Promoter, its related entities, its employees or agents or contractors in connection with the arrangement for the supply or the supply of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any person accompanying the prize winners.
General
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late or misdirected entries. The Promoter’s decisions in relation to any aspects of the competition are final and binding on every entrant.
By entering the competition, entrants and the winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the competition, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they’re a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome).
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting the competition and to periodically keep entrants informed about the services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. Entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this competition. The Promoter may use or disclose entrants personal information to a third party in accordance with its privacy policy www.michaelpage.com.au
If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of technical failures (including computer virus), unauthorised intervention or tampering, fraud or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition with or without prior notice.
Prize terms
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its sole discretion reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of any prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification subject to ant written directions from a regulatory authority. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. Tax implications may arise from the prize winnings and the winner should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting the prizes.
Winner: Flights can only be taken during February, March, April, May, June and July 2016 (excluding the Easter period). The winner and their travelling companion must travel together at the same time and must depart from the same place.
Bookings must be made a minimum of 4 weeks prior to departure date and the Promoter is not responsible if the requested dates are not available.
The prize package is subject to availability and tickets must be utilized and travel completed prior to 31 November 2017.
No changes or cancellation are permitted once the booking is confirmed and the tickets have been issued.
If the winner and/or their travel companion changes cancel or miss their flights, new flight bookings will be at the expense of the winner and their travel companion.
Any additional costs including but not limited to spending money, other meals, travel and personal insurance, items of a personal nature, room preferences or in room and other incidental charges relating to the accommodation, other transfer not stated above and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion
It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that they have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be sole responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.
The Promoter and its associates agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exists at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources including government, the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
