Terms and Conditions for 'Win a trip on the Tour de Pho'
1. Contest Rules
1.1 The Tour de Pho contest begins on July 3rd 12:00pm AEST and will end on July 28th 12:00pm AEST.
1.2 You must be 18 years of age to enter this competition and an Australian resident.
1.3 The content of the video must be about why you love riding your bike. Some ideas to get you started; sing us a song, show it off at an epic location... anything that is creative and fun.
1.4 Video should be a maximum of 30 seconds (if using YouTube).
1.5 Video must be new. Any videos posted to YouTube/Instagram/Vine prior to July 3rd, 2014, the start date of the contest, are not eligible for entry.
1.6 Reid Cycles only accept submission through Youtube, Vine or Instagram (your account should be open for public)
1.7 The top 10 entries as judged by Reid Cycles will be selected on July 31st 2014 and they will be briefed on the top 10 challenge on August 31st 2014.
1.8 No purchase is necessary to enter this contest.
1.9 Only one video should be submitted per email address and you must be the owner of the video.
2. Video Guidelines
2.1 Videos must NOT contain violence, profanity, sex, images of a prurient nature, or direct attacks on individuals, religions or organizations, inappropriate language (summoner names, text chat, voice chat etc) copyrighted music, images and materials without written permission. Video content also must NOT 1) promote illegal behavior; 2) support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice; 3) advocate sexual or violent exploitation; 4) violate rights established by law or agreement; 5) invade the privacy of any person; or 6) promote smoking, drinking or other behavior that is irrelevant to the contest theme 7) be otherwise inappropriate as determined by law and regulation where the video is being recorded in its sole and conclusive determination.
2.2 Reid Cycles reserves the rights to 1) moderate every video submitted 2) disqualify videos that violate our rules and guidelines 3) reject any requests to modify or delete submitted video.
2.3 Reid Cycles is not responsible for technical difficulties resulting in video upload failure, including but not limited to, YouTube or Instagram failure, browser incompatibility, and video formatting difficulties.
3. Winners and Prizes
3.1 The 10 finalists and 5 bike winners will be selected based on their skill and creativity by the team at Reid Cycles and will not be chosen randomly.
3.2 An announcement that an entrant will be receiving a place in the top 10 will be sent to the email address supplied on the potential prize winner’s entry form.
3.3 You are responsible for monitoring your email account for notification and receipt or other communications related to this contest. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Reid within 2 days using the contact information provided at the time of entry, that potential prize winner shall forfeit their place in the top 10.
3.4 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable to other products, and no cash substitution equivalent to prizes are permitted.
3.5 The prize value of the trip that the eventual winner (1 of top 10) will receive is up to $3,000 in value and includes 1x return flight to Vietnam and the cost of 1x place on the Tour de Pho. Everything else is excluded from the prize, this includes but is not limited to visas, medical requirements, travel insurance and food (unless included in trip).
3.6 Decisions of the judges are final and binding.
4. Waiver of Liability
4.1 You are voluntarily agreeing to participate in the Contest and understand that by entering the Contest, you are waiving legal rights you may have against Reid Cycles.This does not afect your statutory rights.
4.2 By entering this contest you agree that your submission may be used in Reid Cycles future online and/or offline promotions without the need to notify the owner of the video and without the need for any compensation.
4.3 By entering the Contest, you unconditionally release and forever discharge any persons, entities or affiliates related in any way to Reid Cycles from any and all actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs,expenses, claims or demands resulting from participation in the Contest, use of the Web Site [or the download of any information from the Web Site], including but not limited to any claims based on publicity rights, personality rights, moral rights, or defamation.
4.4 Reid Cycles accepts no liability resulting from your participation in or attempt to participate in the Tour de Pho contest or ability or inability to upload or download any information in connection with participating in the contest.
4.5 Reid Cycles reserves the rights to 1) adjust, modify, terminate, or suspend the contest, its rule and guidelines 2) adjust prizes in any time without notifying.
5. Privacy Policy
Any personal information collected from video submitted to this contest will never be sold by Reid Cycles. The information collected for this contest will only be used for purposes of the contest to contact video submitter's in direct relation to the contest, and future marketing by Reid Cycles only. The contest winners’ names will be announced publicly, after consultation with the winners, as a part of Reid Cycles contest process.
