Win a weekend in the Blue Mountains - Entry is free. No purchase necessary. Multiple entries are allowed. You must be older than 18 years of age at the time applications close (September 2, 2012). To enter, submit a photograph or video of your visit to Scenic World or the Blue Mountains from any time in history (including current), a description of your memory and contact details. The judging panel will select five (5) Australian Resident Prize Winners and three (3) x International Visitor Prize Winners. The Winners will be selected by the judging panel based on the best overall photograph or video for each of the following categories : Australian Resident Prize Categories Best photograph of Scenic World (pre-1970) Best photograph of Scenic World (1971 - 1995) Best photograph of Scenic World (post-1995) Best video of Scenic World Best photograph or video of the Blue Mountains The five (5) Australian Resident Prize Winners will each be awarded a weekend in the Blue Mountains (‘Weekend Prize’). The Weekend Prize must be redeemed from February 8-10, 2013, coinciding with the Scenic Railway Official Launch Event. The Weekend Prize includes: Two (2) x domestic economy return flights to Sydney from the Prize Winner’s nearest capital city (if residing outside of New South Wales). Flights and carriers are booked at the discretion of Scenic World. (Valued at approximately $400.) Two (2) x nights twin-share accommodation and breakfast for two at Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa. Scenic World reserves the right to change accommodation providers should availability issues arise. (Valued at approximately $1090.) Return transfers for two people between Sydney Domestic Airport and Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa (if required). (Valued at approximately $300.) Two (2) x invitations to the Scenic Railway Launch Event to be held at Scenic World on Saturday February 9, 2013. (Valued at approximately $200.) Two (2) x Scenic World Adult Annual Passes. This year we are re-imagining the Scenic Railway experience, the steepest in the world located in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. To celebrate this milestone, we want to reconnect with the 25 million people who have visited Scenic World over the past 67 years and create a shared history. We'll judge the best video and photographs from each decade. The winners and their guests will receive flights from anywhere in Australia to the Blue Mountains for a weekend escape, sharing in our official Scenic Railway launch events and staying at the luxurious Lilianfels Resort & Spa.
