Connect Hearing Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
The Promoter is Hearing Retail Group Pty Limited (ABN 93 113 235 779) trading as Connect Hearing (“the Promoter”).
Entry to the competition is open to all Connect Hearing customers who are residents of Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Westerna Australia and Victoria over the age of eighteen (18) years (“Eligible Entrants”).
Residents of New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory are not eligible to enter the draw.
Employees of Connect Hearing and immediate family members of employees are ineligible to enter.
Entry
The Promotion commences on 15 August 2016 8am (AEST) and entries close on 5pm 31 October 2016 (AEST) (“the Promotion Period”).
To enter, Eligible Entrants must
enter their details in the Entry Form;
attend a hearing assessment at any Connect hearing clinic in Australia during the Promotion Period; and
return the entry form to the Connect Hearing Clinic at the hearing assessment during the Promotion Period.
Each Eligible Entrant can only submit one entry form, which is valid for one (1) entry into the Competition during the Promotion Period.
Prizes and Winning
The winner will be selected by a random draw by a Connect Hearing representative. This decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The random prize draw will take place at 4 November 2016 2pm (AEST) at time and date at 50 Victoria Street, McMahon’s Point, NSW 2060
The winner will receive a nine (9) nights’ all-inclusive trip package with Celebrity Cruises through the South Pacific for two passengers (the “Prize”)
The total Prize pool value is $3,838.
Prize Conditions
The winner will be notified by telephone no later than 11 November 2016 5pm (AEST).
The winner will have their details published on www.connecthearing.com.au/cruisetrip on11 November 2016 5pm (AEST).
If there are any unclaimed or unawarded prizes, a prize draw will be conducted on 14 November 2016 2pm at the same place and in the same manner as the original draw. If a winner is drawn, they will be contacted by telephone and will have their name published on www.connecthearing.com.au/cruisetrip on 14 November 2016 5pm (AEST).
The Prize trip package is valid for travel from 25 March 2017 to 3 April 2017. Travel dates are fixed by Celebrity Cruises and subject to availability at the time of booking. This Prize is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and will expire if not used by the dates referred to above.
The Prize trip package is valid for two adults (aged 18 years or older), and one passenger must be the winner. The winner and their chosen guest MUST travel together and share the same itinerary. Both the winner and their chosen guest are responsible for obtaining all passports, visas and other travel documents required to enable them to take this prize.
All other expenses including but not limited to: passport and visa application fees, additional meals, beverages, laundry services, gratuities, additional accommodation during optional shore excursions, travel from the prize winner’s location to the departure point (Sydney, Australia), tipping, applicable taxes, surcharges, travel and medical insurance, additional spending money, personal expenses, souvenirs, upgrades, incidentals and expenses not expressly specified herein are sole responsibility of the winner and their chosen guest.
The Prize winner must take the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, and prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The Prize trip package may be booked by contacting Celebrity Cruises on 1-800-647-2251. All prizes are subject to the standard booking terms and conditions of Celebrity Cruises.
The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner (and their companion/s) to first check with all government travel advisory information regarding the safety and situation of the destination of their chosen destination/event.
The Prize winner and their chosen guest are advised to consult their healthcare professional regarding recommended immunisations and/or health checks prior to travelling and to check for travel warnings and any perceived hazards with appropriate authorities.
If for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter this competition is not capable of running as planned and the administration of this competition is affected, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. Changing, modifying or suspending the promotion is subject to relevant state and territory regulations.  The Promoter cannot change, modify or suspend a promotion without permission from the state bodies who issued permits for this promotion.
The Entrant consents to the Promoter and Celebrity Cruises using the personal information provided for marketing and related purposes.  Use of the personal information is governed by Connect Hearing’s Privacy Policy at https://www.connecthearing.com.au/en/about-us/privacy-policy/
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or loss of profit (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in the competition and or taking of any the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. In accepting the prize, the recipient may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
The Promoter reserves the right to change the terms & conditions of the competition at any time.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales. All entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
