What is the Return and Earn Competition?
The Return and Earn Competition is a judged event organised by Exchange for Change (NSW) Pty Ltd. Participants share what they have purchased with their container refunds. The competition is part of the NSW Container Deposit Scheme, known as 'Return and Earn', and aims to highlight creative uses of container refunds.
What are the prizes for the Return and Earn Competition?
The Return and Earn Competition offers four prizes. The top two winners each receive two corporate box tickets and a Bat Flip experience, valued at $1,142.86 and $1,230 respectively. The next two winners receive two corporate box tickets each, valued at $642.86 and $730. The total prize pool is valued at $3,745.72.
When does the competition close?
The competition closes at midnight AEDT on Monday, 30 November 2026. All times are local to Sydney, including daylight saving time.
How do I enter the competition?
To enter the competition, complete the form on the Return and Earn website. Answer the question about your most amazing purchase with a container refund in 50 words or less. Provide your name, email, phone number, NSW postcode, and age confirmation. Under-18s need parental consent.
Who is eligible to enter the Return and Earn Competition?
The Return and Earn Competition is open to NSW residents. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian permission to enter. It is an individual competition with specific exclusions outlined in the General Terms.
How is the winner selected?

If a prize remains unclaimed by 13 December 2026, it will be awarded to the next eligible entry in the judging order. Replacement winners will be notified on 14 December 2026.
