Who can enter the competition?
The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and older. Employees of the promoter, CMMA Digital & Print Pty Ltd (publisher of Australian Golf Digest), and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
When does the competition close?
Entries close at 11:59 PM AEST on 17 January 2025. The winner will be drawn on 24 January 2025.
How can one enter the competition?
To enter, participants must: - Join the Ripper Golf Club fan club. - Answer the question, “Tell us in 30 words or less who is the captain of Ripper GC,” with the most creative response winning. What are the prizes and the total prize pool amount?
The total prize pool is valued at approximately $15,000 AUD and includes: - A 3-day hospitality pass for the winner and one guest to the LIV Golf Adelaide event. - Exclusive access to the range on Pro-Am Day. - A meet-and-greet with the Ripper GC team. - The opportunity to walk with players inside the ropes during the Pro-Am round. - Round-trip flights from any major Australian city to Adelaide for two people. - Five nights’ hotel accommodation, including the night before the event and the three days of the hospitality pass, in a hotel selected by Ripper Golf Club. - Return transfers to the appointed hotel for both the winner and guest. - Ripper GC merchandise valued at $500 per person. - A Ripper GC golf bag for both the winner and guest.
Are there any conditions on the prize?
The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The winner cannot sell the prize. Any additional expenses not specifically included in the prize (e.g., meals, insurance, personal expenses) must be covered by the winner.
How will the winner be selected and notified?
The winner will be chosen based on skill, judged by the creativity of their answer. They will be notified via email or phone within five days of the competition's closing date. If the winner does not respond within three days, a new winner may be selected. The winner will also be announced on the Australian Golf Digest website and social media channels.
Are there any other terms participants should know?
By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes. They also agree to the terms of use of Ripper GC and LIV Golf’s privacy policies. The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time.
