The Jarritos Day of the Dead Competition offers a major prize package valued at approximately $20,000. The prize includes return flights from the winner's closest capital city to Oaxaca, Mexico, 5-star accommodation with a $1,000 voucher for food and drinks, and all local ground transportation and transfers. This package allows the winner and a guest to experience the Day of the Dead celebrations in style.

The competition closes at 11:59 PM AEST on 13 September 2026. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered eligible for participation in the draw.

To enter the competition, eligible participants must purchase at least one Jarritos product from participating stores. After purchase, they can scan a QR code that directs them to a website where they can submit their details for entry into the draw. Each entrant can submit up to ten entries during the competition period.

The Jarritos Day of the Dead Competition is open to individuals, businesses, or companies in NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, QLD, and WA. Individual entrants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents over 18 years old. Businesses or companies must have a registered Australian Business Number (ABN).

The winner of the competition is selected through a game of chance. The final prize draw will take place at Building 1A, 5 - 35 Yarrunga Street, Prestons NSW 2170. The draw will be conducted electronically using a random number generator, ensuring each eligible entry has an equal chance of winning.

The winner will be notified by phone or email within three business days from the draw. The promoter will use the contact details provided in the entry form to reach out to the winner.
